Killing people with the name of “Abu Omar” is simply unpardonable. Why should they suffer such a fate just because they are given this name by their parents? I feel that these people should not kill Omars without finding out the truth of them being a Sunni. Essentially, I feel that the root cause of this unscrupulous murder is due to the corruption and terrorism in the country. If the government had imposed stricter laws, murders and kidnaps would not be so rampant in the country.

In addition, if there were harsh laws, Abu Omar’s son would not have been kidnapped. And he would not be in such a pitiful plight where he is unable to qualify for resettlement as he does not have any evidence to prove his innocence. Hence, I hope that the minority of the uncorrupted leaders of the country would do their part to build a transparent government and bring their people out of terror and trepidation.
